It is almost here, the 2010 B26 sk8 Jam! Join us on July 10, from 10am to 2pm at the corner of Vance Road and Boulevard 26 (Grapevine Highway) in North Richland Hills for an amazing day of skating, music and fun…AND IT IS FREE! This is the south parking lot of North Richland Hills Baptist Church, and we are going to fill it with a mini ramp, some quarter pipes, a few kickers, wedge ramps, rails, fun boxes and everything you need for a great day of skating. And then, we will bring out legendary pro skater Christian Hosoi to skate a demo and hang out for a while! Christian wrote the book on skateboarding, spending several years as the highest paid skater in the world and placing at the top of almost every street and vert competition you can name. Most recently, in 2009, he won the X Games 15 Skateboard Park Legends contest.

Index, Moebius and Rhythm skate shops will be there hosting competitions (best trick, highest ollie and games of sk8). They will also bring their skate teams along to hang out and show off their skills. There will also be some food and drinks available, so bring a few dollars for that. We will even have a snow cone stand to help you fight the heat.

There will be some great prizes for each of the competitions, but we will also have a number of prize drawing throughout the day, everyone will have several chances to win! There will also be a special event at North Richland Hills Baptist Church the next morning, where we will watch a video of the B26 sk8 Jam and have another prize drawing for people that attended both events. There will also be live music by Calling All War and several other activities, so do not miss this event!
